Château La Haye

The team at Château La Haye is delighted to welcome you for a tour and tasting of our wines. You can also purchase them directly at the estate. Château La Haye is one of the oldest wine estates in Saint-Estèphe. It has remained in the same family for 370 years.

You can explore its vineyard, the earliest vines of which date back to 1557, with some of the plots situated in front of the château. A charming estate steeped in legend awaits you.

Legend has it that it was the setting for the romantic trysts of Henry II and Diane de Poitiers during their hunting trips. The intertwined royal monogram ‘H’ and ‘D’ is thus engraved in the château’s stonework and now adorns the labels of our wines. Its 28-hectare vineyard benefits from an exceptional terroir.
