Château Carmenère
The RICHARD--BARRAUD family has been growing vines in Queyrac, one of the northernmost communes of the AOP Médoc, for five generations and thus benefits from a humid oceanic climate. The geographical location between the estuary and the ocean is ideal for the production of high-quality red wine.
2006 was marked by a real decision: the creation of a winery with its own cellar, prioritising the quality of the wines, respect for the terroir and the production of different and rare wines in order to exist. With the reintroduction of an old, historic grape variety: Carménère.
Château Carmenère was born! We look forward to welcoming you all year round to show you around our estate and taste our red, white and rosé wines.
