Sentier des Genêts - Réserve Naturelle de Hourtin
Set off on an adventure and explore the “Sentier des Genêts”. This walking trail winds its way along the chain of dunes and offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Here you can admire the wild beauty of the dunes, where the coastal vegetation meets the waves. The trail then leads you into the heart of the Landes de Gascogne forest. You’ll immerse yourself in this unique natural area, the first forested dune forest by the ocean, where maritime pines and broom perfume the air and create a soothing atmosphere. This walk can also be combined with the “Sentier de la Linaire”.
