The municipality is now in charge of the management of the Soulac-sur-Mer library, which has more than 6,000 books of all kinds, for all publics. The library, which is free to use, has a children's area and offers events, workshops and meetings with authors throughout the year.

Eight book shelters are located throughout the town, allowing people to borrow and put down books in complete confidence".
