Valeyrac is an ancient gallo-roman site which is renowned for its oyster farms. It is a charming little village at the edge of the estuary. Take a stroll around the traditional fisherman huts at the small port of Goulée. This is also the entrance to the Médoc vineyards and the famous wine route.
