Lacanau Lake, with an area of 20 km², is fed by small rivers draining the Medoc. The northern part of the lake is dominated by Moutchic neighborhood that houses a long and beautiful beach. The west bank offers varied scenery with vast wilderness Longarisse which extend to the Point of Bernos. A wide marked trail to discover in peace one of the wildest parts of the lake. From Longarisse, this trail winds through the lake, alternating reeds and water lilies, and high forested dunes from which the lake is discovered. The islands are a privileged habitat for flora and fauna.
