Plage surveillée de Lacanau (la centrale)

The main beach of Lacanau Océan is located directly in the city centre, just a few metres away from many shops and restaurants. This long sandy beach is located between the northern and southern beach. To get there, go directly to the peak where you can find various parkings (fee-based during main season). From there you just need to go down the steps to the beach. After a cool bath in the sea you can have a walk through Lacanau's city centre : there are shops, restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours, ... like that you get to know Lacanau's lifestyle. Attention, central beach is clearly smaller during high tide, you can go to the northern of southern beaches to have more space. 50 metre away from the lifeguard centre is the Mickey Club which is happy to take care of your children from July 1st to August 31.
